Them

Jel and Dose One make up the group Themselves on the Anticon record label. My first time hearing the duo was the track "Lyrical Cougel" from their debut album titled "Them" in 2000. I was familiar with Dose from his work with fellow Cincinnatian J.Rawls and a classic battle vs. Slim Shady, and Jel from providing beats to Sole. The combination of Dose's complex imagination and untypical flow, if you can call it that, with Jels heavy MPC drums and obscure samples produce some amazing rap music.
